What is creative burnout?
Creative burnout is what happens when the part of you that used to make things — draw, write, build, decorate, doodle in the margins — goes quiet, usually because life got loud. It's not that you stopped being creative. It's that creativity got crowded out by everything else you're responsible for.
Why do adults stop creating?
Mostly because creativity starts to feel like a luxury instead of a need. Deadlines, kids, bills, and exhaustion take the front seat, and making something “just because” starts to feel indulgent. The irony is that creativity isn't a luxury — it's one of the more grounding things a person can do. It just gets deprioritized until something reminds you it's allowed.
How do I start painting again as an adult?
Start small and start ugly. You don't need a studio, a plan, or talent you haven't used in years — you need permission to make something bad on purpose. A 20-minute session with cheap supplies and no goal beats waiting for the “right” time to begin seriously.
What should I do when I feel creatively stuck?
Change the input, not the output. Most creative blocks come from trying to force a result instead of feeding your curiosity first — go look at something strange, walk somewhere new, handle a material you've never used.
What is a “Creative Companion”?
A Creative Companion is a small, hand-sculpted polymer clay creature — a tiny, tangible reminder to keep making things. Less a decoration, more a mascot: something you keep nearby that nudges you back toward your own creativity. This collection is currently in progress — follow along here.

Are your paintings originals or prints?
Original paintings are one-of-a-kind pieces — once a piece is sold, that exact piece is gone. Prints are reproductions of select original works. Each product page tells you which one you're looking at.
What are your original pieces made from?
Each piece uses mixed media with hand-applied dimensional elements. Specific materials are listed on each individual product page.
How does the digital download work?
The 7 Day Creative Reset is delivered digitally via email after purchase — no physical item ships.
Are the DIY craft kits beginner-friendly?
Yes. The kits are designed for adults with no prior craft experience, and everything you need is included.
Do you offer creative experiences, date nights, or group activities?
Our DIY craft kits work well as an at-home date night or small group activity — no experience needed, just table space and a couple of hours. We also offer private, in-person workshops in the Central Florida area for celebrations, private events, and trying something new — learn more and inquire here.
What's your shipping timeline?
Orders are processed within 2–5 business days, with tracking sent by email once it ships. We currently ship within the United States. Mugs, totes, stickers, and posters are made to order and may ship separately from other items.
What's your return policy?
All sales are final, including original art, craft kits, and digital downloads. If your order arrives damaged or defective, contact us within 7 days of delivery and we'll make it right. Full details are in our refund policy.
